Terms & Conditions

Paul Sherwood Photography aims to fulfil your requests and deliver high quality photography to you. Below are some T&C’s regarding the service provided

For the purpose of this agreement, the ‘Client’ shall be the person booking the commission, or their assignee or successor, the ‘photographer’ shall be Paul Sherwood of Sherwood Photography, or if necessary, one of his appointed colleagues.

The ‘booking’ shall be the agreement between the photographer and the client to provide photographs and/or products as set out in the agreement, and the assignment is the date and time agreed by the photographer and the client for the booking to be completed.

All verbal and written contracts are only accepted on the basis of these T&C’s

The ‘fee’ shall be the amount agreed between the Photographer and the Client for the provision of Photographs or Products.

If the assignment overruns the length of time originally agreed between the photographer and the client, the photographer reserves the right to make an additional fee to compensate for the extra time.

The ‘images’ and ‘products’ shall be all photographic materials created or supplied by the photographer, whether they be digital files, or any other form of physical or digital material produced by the photographer.

All other terms and conditions are specifically excluded unless agreed in writing by the photographer, and must be agreed prior to the commencement of any work.

Emails, letters and messages via social media are deemed to be ‘in writing’ under this agreement.

The entire copyright in the pictures is retained by Paul Sherwood Photography and title to all photographs remains the property of the Photographer.

Images will be licensed to a client for unlimited use, upon payment of the fee in full.

Under the ‘Copyright, Act 2000’, the copyright of all images created by the photographer is owned by the photographer. Unless the photographer gives written authorisation, the client is forbidden in law to copy any images created by the photographer, and agrees that all photographic reprints, digital duplications or copies of any type made from images created by the photographer shall only be carried out by the photographer.

Paul Sherwood Photography retains the right to use images for their professional portfolio and online, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client

In the event that a client should damage or lose electronic or printed images once received, Paul Sherwood Photography accepts no liability.

These terms and conditions represent the entirety of the agreement between Paul Sherwood Photography and the Client. Any variation is only applicable when agreed in advance and in writing.

Website Online Shop – Terms & Conditions inc. Delivery and Returns

The prints supplied by Paul Sherwood Photography are a custom product, as such the client will be required to pay for products in full before they are created and posted, an email will be sent confirming payment.

Every effort will be made to obtain the best possible print quality of photographs, but should you have an issue with prints you have received, the client must contact Paul Sherwood Photography within 3 days of receiving the photographs in order to rectify the matter as quickly as possible.

Advice of damage on delivery must be made in writing to Paul Sherwood Photography within three days of delivery, or in the case of non-delivery, within 28 days of ordering the goods.

Any prints or frames damaged in transit will be replaced free of charge, once the damaged item has been returned to Sherwood Photography, and the return postage will be refunded back to the client

Any claims in respect of any of the above must be made in writing.

Paul Sherwood Photography accepts no liability if the client damages printed photographs once received.

Allow 10 to 12 working days for deliveries in Ireland

Postage costs are included in the pricing on the website

The “preview” images on this site are low resolution so the true level of detail in the printed images will be greater

For overseas customers, please note that any Customs charges, if incurred, are the responsibility of the purchaser.
